Conditions we see
Conditions we treat, with your GP alongside.
We see adults aged 17 and over with a focused range of conditions, from our clinic in Blackburn and by telehealth for reviews. Each page below explains the condition in plain words, when a psychiatrist is worth seeing, and how to get referred.
Condition guides
Find the page that fits
- Bipolar disorder Assessment, diagnosis and long-term shared care for bipolar spectrum conditions, with reviews every 3–6 months.
- PTSD and trauma Specialist assessment and medication advice for PTSD and trauma-related difficulties, alongside your psychologist.
- Treatment-resistant depression A psychiatrist's second look at depression that hasn't improved enough with the treatment you've already tried.
- Anxiety Specialist input for anxiety disorders when treatment with your GP and psychologist needs a closer look.
- ADHD and anxiety An adult ADHD assessment that looks closely at anxiety too, when both might be part of the picture.
We also see depression more broadly, adult ADHD on its own, and people who need their medication reviewed. You'll find those on ongoing psychiatry care, adult ADHD assessments and medication review.
